This golden week I have been very lucky to find some many wonderful places in Shikoku. This is another excellent cafe. It’s another very old building, about 120 years old. The apple cake is very good. The taste feels very western. I am a Canadian and their apple cake remind me of traditional baked apple cakes in Canada. I also had their coffee jello. At first, I was thinking this dessert will just be a normal coffee jelly. I’m surprised at the quality of the food. The ice cream is top quality, very very smooth. The jello was excellent too. Both the apple cake and coffee jelly were so good, I ordered their recommended muffin. Muffins were excellent. They are not typical Japanese muffins. Its not very sweet, and you eat them with butter. As expected from an European style cafe, the food here is a good representation of traditional western food.

A lovely traditional cafe in an old wooden European house. The atmosphere was warm and comfy. The coffee was rich but not that strong. The best one was a caramel chestnut cheesecake. It was so yummy, full of aroma.
